Top-load Samsung washers rely on suspension rods; when they wear, the machine bangs on spin and throws UE codes.
On some older front-load models the drum support (spider) corrodes and breaks, causing loud noise and a wobbling drum.

Drain pumps, locks, valves, suspension and boards are worth repairing on most Samsung washers. A broken drum support or bad bearings on an older front-loader may cost enough to make replacement worth considering — we will quote both ways.
5C (or 5E, nd on some models) is a drain error. Clean the drain pump filter first; if it still will not drain, the pump or hose likely needs repair.
Worn suspension rods are the most common cause, especially with UE codes. Replacing the rods is a routine repair.
